• Removal of the geosynthetic liner component beneath the entire exposed and disturbed
DCF areas,
• Inspection of the Soil Liner Fill ( "SLF ") to confirm integrity, repairs therein if necessary
to designed specifications — repairs are not anticipated due to the general soundness of
the synthetic component of the liner system
• Re- establishment of approximately 240 linear feet of anchor trench to designed
specifications,
• Replacement of the geosynthetic liner with 80 mil double sided, textured, linear low
density polyethylene to designed specifications — currently estimated to be
approximately 66,000 square feet of synthetic liner including material used for anchor
trench re- establishment,
• Replacement of the High Volume Solution Collection System ( "HVSCS ") piping to
designed specifications,
• Replacement of the DCF to designed specifications,
• Completion and submittal of a Construction Quality Assurance ( "CQA ") report including
as- builts to DRMS.
Quantities are approximate and subject to change based on any additional movement of the DCF
prior to completion of the project.
The double sided textured material is expected and calculated to be effective in minimizing the
likelihood of reoccurrence of this issue.
Please contact me at (719)- 689 -4055 should you have questions or wish to discuss this plan.
Timm Corner
Manager, Environmental Resources
Xcopy: Kevin Riley, Process Manager, CC &V Gold Mining Company
