The waste rock sample is indicative of material
that is unlikely to be an acid producer.
The acid-neutralizing potential ofxhe sample exceeds the acid - generating potential by a factor of 5
based on the pyritic sulfur content, and by a factor of 30 based on pyritic sulfur as determined by
peroxide oxidation. Since the acid - neutralizing potential of the sample is so high, no additional
kinetic (humidity cell) testwork is warranted on this material at this time.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to call.
Yours truly,
GEOCHEM,
a Division of Terra Vac
- 12265 W.
