Summary
Based upon current observations of the historic WRSF that is comprised of material similar to
that which will be excavated during current exploration and the associated ABA analyses results
it is concluded that exploration decline material from the Bulldog is unlikely to be acid
generating. The positive site history and lack of obvious environmental impacts at this location
provide additional support for ongoing activities. The historic WRSF was exposed to weathering
and continued exposure to the Windy Gulch stream for over thirty years before a culvert was
installed and a cover placed with no downstream impacts. In summary, exploration activities
conducted by RGS at the Bulldog are unlikely to cause adverse impacts related to acid
generation from excavation material placed at the surface.
