NORTHWEST COLORADO CONSULTANTS, INC. <br />FIELD REPORT <br />Project: Pond 16 -Area Project No.: 08 -8099 Date: 09/27/11 <br />Remediation Time: 3.0 <br />Location: Routt County, CO Report No.: 9 Mileage: 74 <br />Client: Peabody Energy Engr. /Tech: JS <br />Work Performed: <br />As requested, we visited the project site on this date and conducted compaction test No.'s 40 through 47 on the <br />material being placed for Pond 16A fill. <br />The excavation contractor, Seneca Mine, had finished mucking out the bottom of Pond 16A. Crews were now <br />placing and compacting on -site borrow material along the south half of Pond 16A for pond backfill. <br />Remarks: <br />The material tested generally met the project specifications for compaction. <br />Please refer to the attached sheet for the results of today's testing. <br />It should be noted that Seneca Mine crews are beginning to cut in PM -2 drainage channel below the shrub plot. <br />Verbal Discussions: <br />Jim Rolando of Seneca Mine was notified of today's test results. <br />
