EXHIBIT D: Wildlife
This aggregate area has been mined since 1965;
therefore, resumed operations will not affect additional
acreages . The affected lands are currently devoid of
vegetation and wildlife utilization is suspected to be
limited to animals that may pass through while traveling
from one habitat area to another. Table D-1 lists many
animals that may inhabit adjacent lands .
Threatened or endangered species are not known to
occur in the affected area. Colorado Division of
Wildlife has an official report of a wolverine sighting
that occuring during 1960 in the Tenmile Range .
Migration routes of wild animals do not pass through
and are not disrupted by the affected lands or by the
mining operations on the affected lands .
