The proposed operations comply with the
Mineral Leasing Act of 1920 as amended, the 43 CFR Subpart 3480 requirements for Resource recovery
and protection Plans, and the conditions and terms of the lease; therefore we approve this R2P2 of lease
C00088199. We also find that the proposed operation achieves maximum economic recovery of the
Federal coal.
The R2P2 conforms to the BLM's land use plan for the Little Snake Resource Area, and is in harmony
with the management objectives to maximize the availability of the Federal Coal estate and to facilitate
orderly, economic and environmentally sound exploration and development of the coal resource.
The R2P2 for lease C00088199 is approved.
