<br />Twentymile Coal, LLC (TC), 29515 Routt
<br />County Road 27, Oak Creek, Colorado
<br />80487, has submitted an application for a
<br />Technical Revision (TR) to the Foidel Creek
<br />Mine, Permit Number C- 82 -056. The revi-
<br />sion (TR13 -82), modifies the approved min-
<br />ing plans for the Western Miring District
<br />(WMD) to make minor changes in the current
<br />approved panel configuration and design s-
<br />tions, add a 12 -Left Panel, and extend the
<br />13 -Left and 14 -Lett longwall panels, reflect
<br />the associated development and mining of
<br />the associated coal reserves, and modifies
<br />the Mince Permit Area by adding approxi-
<br />mately 80 acres to encompass the panel ex-
<br />tensions and associated lease and subsid-
<br />en ce areas.
<br />The mire permit area currently encompasses
<br />approximately 22,450 acres, located approx-
<br />imately 23 miles southwest of Steamboat
<br />Springs on Routt County Road 33, and ap-
<br />proximately 7.3 miles northwest of Oak
<br />Creek on Routt County Road 27. Mine of-
<br />fices and major surface facilities are located
<br />adjacent to Foidel Creek, near the intersec-
<br />tion of these two roads. The mine permit
<br />area is covered by the Cow Creek, Dunkley,
<br />Milner, Mount Harris, Oak Creek, and Rattle-
<br />snake Butte USGS 7.5 minute quadrangle
<br />maps. The lands affected by the proposed
<br />revision fall within the current Mine Permit
<br />Area, which include portions of Section 34,
<br />T5N, R87W. TC owrn or controls the surface
<br />and coal within the current Permit Area, and
<br />the surface within the proposed extension
<br />area, and has secured leases of the Federal
<br />and fee coal within the extension area. Sur-
<br />face and coal owners for these areas Include
<br />TC; the State of Colorado; the USDI- Bureau
<br />of Land Management; NRC -CO1, LLC; Ca-
<br />milleth & Sons; the Hunter Family Trust; Wil-
<br />liam and Janice Rogers; John and Hillary
<br />Rice; William and Susan Mitzelield, David
<br />and Linda Male, Twentymila Sheep Com-
<br />pany, LLC; Myron Walker Trust; Paul
<br />Swisher; Ashley Investments, LLC; Guff Oil
<br />Corporatbrx and the Ruth McCollister Trust.
<br />The ownership, precise location, and bound-
<br />aries of lands within the Permit are identified
<br />on pages 2.03 -13 through 2.08 -18 and
<br />203-22 and 2.03 -23.1, and Maps 1 and 2, of
<br />the Mire Permit Application Package (PAP),
<br />and are included in this public notice by ref-
<br />erence.
<br />Copes of the PAP, including the referenced
<br />Permit Revision application, (less confidential
<br />material) are available for inspection at the
<br />mine office and the office of the Colorado Di-
<br />vision of Reclamation, Miring, and Safety.
