Report of 12 February 2012 and inspection of 31 January 2013 - Signs and
Markers - Rule 3.1.12.
Dear Peter:
In an effort to remedy concerns expressed in the above referenced inspection
report for this operation, please allow the following photographs as proof of
having satisfied the concerns expressed in that report with respect to Signs and
Markers specified under Rule 3.1.12.
You will observe that entrance to the primary access of the mine begins at a
gate adjacent to Ash Avenue. Access from the gate leads to the primary point
of access to operations and the permitted area. Both the gate entrance at
Ash Avenue, and the primary operational entrance just to the northeast of that
location at the western boundary of the permit, are clearly marked with the
signage satisfying Rule 3.1.12„ and consistent with earlier e -Mail messages
confirming the language and nature of the signage.
Also notice in the photographs the marking of the northwest and southwest
corners and resulting west boundary. Fill markers showing the edge of
operations along the upper south bank of the Cache la Poudre River, and along
the north boundary are also shown. The east boundary is fenced and gated and
acts as a suitable marker. The supporting photographs follow below.
Please affirm that our good faith actions to remedy those concerns detailed
in your inspection report of 12 February 2013 have been satisfied to the
satisfaction of the Office. Naturally, if you need further clarification or
assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us.
