The supplemental <br />well on the South Waste Rock Pile was installed and completed by Layne Christensen <br />Company, a reputable drilling company with experienced crews who have done previous <br />work at the site. Furthermore, the supplemental well drilling, installation and completion was <br />supervised by Susan Wyman, a knowledgeable and trained hydrogeologist /geologist with <br />Whetstone Associates, Inc. <br />33. Please commit to having the pan hvsrmeter installation overseen by a knowledgeable and <br />trained hydro - geologist with pan lt'simeter experience. <br />The pan lysimeter installation will be overseen by a knowledgeable and trained <br />hydrogeologist with Whetstone Associates, Inc., a consultant to Cotter. <br />34. Please describe how you will access shaft 2 when installing the pump. <br />Shaft 2 will be accessed through the Sunshine decline and the Steve Adit. <br />35. Please describe the disposal method and process for spent resin or waste from the ion <br />exchange treatment process (N g , .shipping quantities, shipping frequency, disposal location) <br />Cotter has previously described this process in TR -12 and bonded for shipment and disposal <br />of loaded resin at a licensed facility in Utah under the Radioactive Materials License. Cotter <br />is pursuing processing options for the uranium for beneficial use. Please refer to `iR -12 <br />correspondence for a description of shipping quantities and frequencies. <br />36 URAIS is preparing a reclamation cost estimute,for the work proposed in your September <br />21, 2012 submittal, and will provide you a copy oldie estimate when it becomes available <br />No response necessary. <br />Sincerely yours, <br />Ken Mushinski <br />President <br />
