Environmental Protection Specialist MAR 0 8 2013 Dear Mr. Cazier, Ref: M- 2012 -052 Providence Mine Reclamation Permit Application Division of Reclamation, tion, Mining Safety I would like to thank you, Mr. Waldron and Mr. Kaldenbach for your time on Monday afternoon and affording me the opportunity to explain where we are at in terms of our permit application preparation and certain of the challenges we are currently facing. We are diligently working on access to the portal area of the mine as explained and are currently engaging with one of the land owners to get permission to have access across and through a portion of their property as it is located within the proposed permit application area. We are hopeful that this will result in the acquisition of the property or a lease agreement being concluded. Once we have the issue resolved we will be able to complete the permit application, and have retained the assistance of Mr. Art Braun, Braun Environmental to submit the completed application to your office. There are other items we will need to be complying with in terms of receiving approval from Teller County, all of which will be communicated to your office. We are requesting a 60 -day extension to get these tasks completed and in the absence of reaching an amicable agreement with the land owner to buy /lease, we will pursue alternate options for access to the portal which will change the current proposed permit area.
