Reclamation Assessment Habitat Management was contracted to conduct a reclamation assessment of the project when seeding recommendations from the construction plans were deemed inadequate. Habitat Management's recommendations are based on documentation provided by the OWNER (Thomas Brubaker) and the NRCS. Recommendations from the NRCS are listed in Table 1 and the specification (Exhibit E) recommendations are listed in Table 2. Table 1: MR CS Recommendation • : Exhibit E These recommendations were based on the assumption of sandy soils (i.e. Deep Sands, Sandy Bottomland, and Sandy Plains ecosites). Habitat Construction, LLC then took the extra precaution of having a soil analysis to be sure of exact soil conditions of the project site. Soils samples (Appendix A) were taken from various locations around the project site then delivered to Colorado Analytical Laboratories, Inc. It was noted in the reports that the field samples were that of sandy soils. Reclamation Pre - reclamation soil stabilization practices that were implemented by Habitat Construction, LLC included silt fence installation around the construction activity perimeter, erosion matting placed around the riprap outfall and dozer tracking slopes with erosion potential. Habitat Construction, LLC met with Robin Bay of Habitat Management, Inc. on March 26 to discuss reclamation practices, seed mixes and site specific reclamation techniques that were to be implemented on the project. After a thorough site assessment, the following tables list the final decision of reclamation fertilizer and seed mix.
