DIVISION OF RECLAMATION, MINING AND SAFETY
Department of Natural Resources
1313 Sherman St., Room 215
Denver, Colorado 80203
Dear Mr. Tim Cozier:
Re: Indian Springs Ranch, LLP, Thorson Mine, Permit M- 1981 -020
The partners of Indian Springs Ranch, LLP are applying for temporary cessation of our mine beginning on
March 1, 2013 for a period of five years. The reason for our appeal is that the economy is currently
slow. The Aero -Crete Company (German based) came to the Florence, CO last year. We were hopeful
for a market; however, after giving them two assay reports the company just left. We will make every
effort to resume activity when the economy improves. A letter will be sent to inform your office of any
resumption of activity when it occurs.
We are a very small operation, thus our bond is only set at $2500. This CD is in good standing. Our
permitted area is only ten acres, of which only Tess than an acre is affected. There will be minimal
reclamation involved as there is no vegetation to replace, perhaps covering up the excavated areas. As
far as maintenance of site there is no storm water issue.
We will continue doing our annual reports.
Enclosed is a cheque in the amount of $144.00.
Respectfully fitted,
2
Ina Finch, managing partner
March 1, 2013
c ic/
RECEIVED
MAR 0 1 2013
Division of Reclamation,
Mining & Safety
