5. Division's Initial Comment: Proposed page 2.04 -9.1 omits discussion on the Peabody
Sage Creek Mine overland conveyor, 15LT Rock Dust Tank, 16LT Utility Borehole,
2011 -2012 Exploration, and 2012 WMD Exploration as found on approved page 2.04-
9.1. Please provide an updated proposed page 2.04 -9.1 to include omitted required
information.
TC Response: The referenced page has been reviewed and revised to include all relevant
information. Copies of revised pages accompany these responses for replacement in the
PAP. This response is adequate.
6. Division's Initial Comment. The boundaries of the WMD are identified on approved
permit page 2.04 -11, under the heading of Western Mining District. Based on the
information presented in the PR -9 application this information will require revision.
Approved page 2.04 -11 states that, "the area is bounded on the east by one of the primary
faults (orient NNW to SSE)." Please revise page 2.04 -11 to reflect the correct boundary
based on the proposed longwall panel extensions and panel additions in the WMD.
TC's Response: The referenced page has been reviewed and revised to reflect the
revised boundaries for the WMD given the proposed changes in the mine plans and
configuration. Copies of the revised page accompany these responses for replacement in
the PAP. This response is adequate.
7. Division's Initial Comment: It appears that proposed pages 2.04 -16.4 and 16.5 is
numbered incorrectly based on the approved pages. Please renumber the proposed pages
to 2.04 -16.3 and 16.4.
TC Response: The referenced page has been reviewed and revised to include all relevant
information. Copies of revised pages accompany these responses for replacement in the
PAP. This response is adequate.
8. Division's Initial Comment: TC included a proposed page 2.04 -80.2. The information
identified on the propose page is listed on approved page 2.04 -79 and 80. If an edit of the
pages is required, please see the approved pages for text.
TC Response: The comment is correct. The referenced pages have been reviewed and
copies of a revised page 2.04 -79 accompany these responses for replacement in the PAP
(page 2.04 -80.2 eliminated). This response is adequate.
9. Division's Initial Comment. Proposed Map 23 has omitted longwall panels that are
currently approved to be mined or have been mined. Approved Map 23 identifies the
western most panel of the WMD as Panel 18 Left. The proposed Map 23 identifies the
western most panel of the WMD as 17 Left. In addition, the proposed 12 Left outby
Panel timing is not identified on the proposed Map 23. Please revise Maps 23, 23B, and
23C to reflect the approved and proposed mine plan.
