We'll be reviewing the estimate
and let you know if we have further questions or issues.
We are in the final stages of review of revised materials for TR -67, Responses to the Midterm
Review. Ron is reviewing the revision submittal and once we have a final set of materials, we will
submit the revision. The revision addresses midterm review issues as well as requests
modification of the PMLU and the revegetation plan. We understand that we will need the
written comments of the CPW as part of the revision package and anticipate getting those
written comments through the completeness and adequacy review. CPW has already given their
approval of moving forward with the conceptual plan of modification to the land use and
revegeation plan via email correspondence with the assumption that they will be allowed to
comment and review the detailed plan.
We note that the Division has now included costs for importation of topsoil for the RDA. As we
understand it, the assumption is that the RDA will be fully constructed as approved. Although
you have not yet had the opportunity to review, TR -67 addresses the topsoil balance question as
requested in the midterm review. Please keep in mind that Table 24 details the topsoil harvesting
for the RDA as the RDA is constructed. This table was initially approved with the RDA approval.
While we concur that topsoil "stockpiles" are certainly not present today for full reclamation of a
"as designed" RDA, topsoil harvesting as estimated in Table 24 of the PAP accounts for adequate
volumes of topsoil to be available as the additional disturbed area of the RDA is progressively
stripped. Topsoil balance text information has been added in TR -67 to section 2.05 and the
https: / /mai l.g oog le.conVmai 1 /u /0 / ?ui =2 &i k= e29129fcb5 &view = pt &search =i nbox&th= 13dl8392bbcO951 b 1/2
