Moffat County Mining, LLC (MCM), 29515 Routt County Road 27, Oak Creek, <br />Colorado 80467, has submitted an application for renewal of the existing active Mining <br />and Reclamation Permit (Permit Number C -81 -044) for the Williams Fork Mines. <br />The mine permit area encompasses approximately 6,361 acres, located approximately 6 -7 <br />miles south of Craig, Colorado on both sides of State Highway 13. The Mine is <br />designated under "Active" permit status due to reclamation work completed in 2010, <br />however, active mining or reclamation activities are not occurring on site and current <br />activities are limited to environmental monitoring and maintenance of the existing lands <br />and facilities. The Mine Permit Area is covered by the Round Bottom and Castor Gulch, <br />Colorado USGS 7.5- minute quadrangle maps and includes approximately four miles of <br />State Highway 13, beginning in the SW' SW' /a Section 21, T6N, R91W, and extending <br />through portions of Sections 20, 29, 30, and 31 of T6N, R91W, and Section 6, TSN, <br />R91W. The ownership, precise location, and boundaries of lands within the Permit Area <br />are identified on pages 2.03 -22 through 2.03 -31, 2.03 -34, and Maps 1 and 2 of the Permit <br />Application Package (PAP), which is available for review in the Moffat County Clerk and <br />Recorders Office. The Permit Area encompasses all or portions of T5N, R91W, Sections <br />4, 5, 6, and 8; T6N, R91W; Sections 17, 19, 20, 21, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, and 33; T5N, <br />R92W, Section 1; and T6N, R92W, Sections 25, 26, 35, and 36. <br />Copies of the PAP (less confidential materials) are available for inspection at the above <br />address and the office of the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety.
