mltted by Snowcap Coal Company,
Inc.. With this technical revision
Snowcap Coal Company, Inc. (SCC)
proposes a new design for the drain•
age ditch N -H that crosses reclaimed
sediment Pdnd 9. The revision also
provides a discussion of the flow
variations In the french drain system
at the South Portal for Incorporation
into the permit document.
The Roadside Portals is an Under
ground coal mine located in Mesa
County, approximately 5 miles north
of Palisade, Colorado. Coal Interest
Is Federal and private, and the sur•
face affected is Federal and private
land. The permit area encompasses
approximately 2,786.00 acres.
This proposed decision is based on a
finding that the proposed operation
will comply with all requirements of
the Colorado Surface Coal Mining
Reclamation Act, Section 34 33 101,
et seq., C.R.S., and the regulations
promulgated thereunder.
Copies of the proposed decision, In
eluding stipulations, are on file for
public Inspectida at the Colorado DI•
visloh of Reclamation, Mining and
Safety, Room 215, Centennial Build.

proposed decision.

The County of Mesa, State of Colorado; that said newspaper has a

meaning of the act of the general Assembly of the State of Colorado,
entitled "An Act to regulate the printing of legal notices and

in said newspaper, and in the regular and entire issue of every number
thereof once a week for 1 successive week;
