Post - Reclamation Drainage and Surface Hydrology
Cost /Acre: S811.35
Cost /Acre *: $81135
The original drainage of the site was from the southwest to the northeast to the Middle Fork of the
South Platte River, which is immediately north of the permit area. During mining, large depres-
sions will change this hydrology such that all runoff from the site will infiltrate into the ground.
For reclamation, the approximate original contour will be restored, without depressions, such that
the original drainage pattern will be restored. See Map F -1. The sediment pond and Collection
Ditches #1 and #2 will remain in place and will be maintained until such time as the revegetation
has been deemed adequate. At that time, the pond and the ditches will be regraded, topsoiled and
seeded and mulched.
Gloria Z Mine 2013 Amendment 27
