eight spoil springs that are monitored for field parameters and lab
samples in the spring season.
Surface water quality data are presented in Appendix D. Data for each
site begins with a flow hydrograph of all historic data (plus an annual
hydrograph for NPDES sites), followed by a listing of individual water
quality and quantity data for the current water year, remarks and a TDS
regression plot using the LOWESS method (see Ground Water Quality
section). Lab samples are handled identically to procedures discussed
previously in the Ground Water Quality section.
For the sake of brevity, the prefix that precedes all surface water site
names will often be dropped throughout the following text. As an
example, Site SSLG5 may be referred to as Site 5.
Fish Creek Drainage. Two PSCM monitoring sites exist within the Fish
Creek drainage: NPDES4 (aka, Pond 004) and SSC10 are located on lower
Cow Camp Creek.
- NPDES Discharge Point 004 (NPDES4). Hydrographs are presented in
Appendix D. The hydrographs for NPDES sites consist of two parts; the
first being data for this year only, while the second shows all
historical data.
The water year average flow values since this pond began to flow are:
2012 = 0.105 cfs (monthly measurements)
2011 = 0.498 cfs "
2010 = 0.132 cfs "
2009 = 0.146 cfs If
2008 = 0.196 cfs
2007 = 0.152 cfs II
2006 = 0.140 cfs "
2005 = 0.084 cfs "
2004 = 0.128 cfs "
2003 = 0.143 cfs "
2002 = 0.093 cfs II
9
