access. The revegetation along the sides of the fords to be created will be <br />minor. The revegetation mix to be used along the road sides will be for Big <br />Sagebrush Shrubland. The revegetation should not be effected by limited <br />livestock grazing which will occur mainly during the winter and spring. <br />3.7 PREVENTION OF PUBLIC HAZARDS <br />In conformance with 30 CFR 1711 -2, MSHA approved concrete foam was used <br />to seal the four drift openings during 1992. The drift openings were filled with <br />incombustible material for a distance of at least 25 feet into such openings during 2000. <br />3.8 RECLAMATION SCHEDULE AND COSTS <br />Reclamation of the majority of the site occurred during 2007. Remaining <br />reclamation work scheduled during 2013 includes removal of the sediment pond and <br />associated ditch and culvert reclamation in the coal waste disposal vicinity, along with <br />culvert removal /dry ford construction along the retained segment of the haul /access <br />road located on BLM surface and width reduction on the segment of road on BLM <br />surface. Revegetation (seeding) occurs during the fall of the year that reclamation is <br />performed. <br />Detailed reclamation cost estimates are prepared by the DRMS. The estimates <br />indicate that the remaining cost of the reclamation will be about $65,965. See Table <br />3.9 -6. <br />Permit Renewal 3 -20 10/12 <br />
