Clark, Thorne
From: Mace - CDOT, Lesley [lesley.mace @state.co.us]
Sent: Thursday, February 14, 2013 8:28 AM
To: Clark, Thome
Subject: Re: MLE2 weekly Report WE 02.09.2013 FOR REVIEW
Good morning Thorne -
I am sending this email in response to our telephone conversation this morning regard the concrete pad crossing.
While in attendance at the Pre - construction meeting, our materials group noted that they would not be requiring
any testing on the concrete pad to be constructed at the intersection of the haul road and SH 67. The reason for
this decision was based on the temporary nature of the slab and that this crossing not be part of
the permanent realignment. All other construction associated with the permanent roadway will be subject to the
testing requirements specified by the form 250 or as directed by Region 2 materials group.
If you have any additional questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me at your convenience.
Regards,
Lesley Mace
i
