The contents of this report are submitted to <br />satisfy the requirements of CDMG Rule 2.04.13 Annual Reclamation Reports. In addition, we <br />have also included an executed CDMG, Annual Reclamation Report for the Year 2012 form. <br />Location and numbers of acres disturbed during 2012: <br />Elk Creek Mine — gob vent boreholes( see attached list) 5.86 acres <br />Location and number of acres of areas backfilled and graded during 2012: <br />Elk Creek Mine — gob vent boreholes, roads, and Hubbard Fansite. 5.91 acres <br />Seed Purchases: <br />Seed was purchased from Granite Seed Company, Lehi, Utah. Attached are copies of the "Letter <br />of Certification" for seed shipped in 2012. <br />Weed Control <br />Early season thistles, houndstongue and Whitetop were sprayed by a contractor using Telar <br />herbicide in accordance with the label requirements. Later season thistles, houndstongue and <br />Russian knapweed were sprayed with a Redeem herbicide or Milestone herbicide in accordance <br />with the label. Areas sprayed included general disturbance areas such as road cuts, warehouse <br />storage areas, pond outslopes, reclaimed borehole roads and borehole padsites, etc. <br />Rill and Gully Survey <br />The Lower Hubbard Creek site, the Bear Creek site, the reclaimed areas of the II West and West <br />Valley fill coal refuse disposal area and East Yard coal refuse disposal area and the reclaimed <br />degas wells sites, etc. were inspected for the formation of rills and gullies deeper than nine <br />inches. No such gullies were encountered requiring follow -up repair and seeding. <br />
