<br />The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety (Division) is in the process of reviewing
<br />outstanding Notices of Intents (NOI) on file that have expired, but remain open. As a part of this review,
<br />the Division is updating the reclamation cost estimates associated with theses NOIs per Rule 3.02.2(4).
<br />Blue Mountain Energy has three of these NOIs.
<br />Regulatory requirements for final bond release include a submittal of drill hole abandonment reports for
<br />holes drilled, a final reclamation report, a formal written request to the Division requesting for bond
<br />release, and an on -site inspection of the reclaimed success of approved activities. The status and a
<br />summary of the open NOIs are listed below.
<br />X- 2011 - 230 -03
<br />A $44,840.00 bond is held for the project known as Deserado Exploration 2011 located in Sections 17, 18
<br />19, T3N, R101W and Sections 24 and 25, T3N, R102W of 6th P.M. in Rio Blanco County. 15 holes were
<br />permitted under the authority of this NOI. The Division received Drill Hole Abandonment Reports on
<br />March 3, 2012. This NOI will expire December 31, 2013.
<br />We ask that you consider the following:
<br />1. Submit the final reclamation report.
<br />2. Submit a letter to the Division officially requesting bond release.
<br />3. Arrange with the Division for an on -site inspection of the exploration reclamation.

<br />A $46,476.00 bond is held for the project known as Deserado Exploration 2008 -2010 located in Sections
<br />7, 8, 17, 18, 19, 20, T2N, R100W; Sections 12, 13, 14, 24, T2N, R101W; Sections 20, 21, 22, 26, 27, 34,
<br />35, T3N, R10 1W all of 6th P.M. in Rio Blanco County. 14 holes were permitted under the authority of this
<br />NOI. Mineral Prospecting Drill Hole Abandonment Reports were received January 14, 2011 for
<br />holes /sites B, C, E1, E2, E3, E4, N1, N2, and N3.These form are similar to the coal program's Drill Hole
<br />Abandonment Report, but lack some fields that are required per Rule 4.07.3(3). This NOI expired June 1,
<br />2011.
