Hayden Gulch Loadout
Technical Revision 10
Page 6
Response: Page 3 has been revised.
Tab 17; Reclamation Schedule
22. Please revise this tab to account for the reclamation work completed and associated with
bond release SL1 and the projected reclamation schedule for the remainder of the
features at the site as well as any projected land disturbance during the next permit term.
Response: The future operations /reclamation plans for the Hayden Gulch Loadout permit area
will be based on future economic considerations which can't be predicted at this time. Tab 17
has been revised to indicate this.
Tab 19; Topsoil Handling Plan
23. On Table 19 -3; Suitable Soil Salvage, Storage, and Replacement, the notes section item
no. 1 indicates that soil map units are identified on Exhibits 19 -1 and 19 -2. However,
this information is found on Exhibits 9 -1 and 9 -2. Please revise this page.
Response: Table 19 -3 has been revised.
24. Also, on Table 19 -3, the notes section indicates only 4 inches of topsoil are available to
be replaced on the facilities area. Based on the topsoil evaluation submitted in Tab 9
and the subsequent text in Tab 19, approximately 6 to 9 inches (see page 9 of Tab 19) of
topsoil is available for this area. Please revise this table accordingly.
Response: Table 19 -3 has been revised.
Tab 20; Reve2etation Plan:
25. Exhibit 20 -2; Post Disturbance Vegetation — Haul Road Corridor, indicates three
different areas designated to be seeded with a specified seed mixture. These seed mixes
are designated as Cropland, Seed Mix No.3 (Rangeland Mix) and Seed Mix No.5 (TAHR,
Greasewood, Meadow and Lowland Areas). It is unclear which seed mixture
corresponds to the Cropland vegetation area designated. Please revise this exhibit and
the appropriate permit text so it is clear which seed mix will be used to reclaim this area.
Response: Following review of Exhibit 20 -2, it appears clear about what the "Cropland" seed
mix is, i.e. small grains. In the year 2030 when the TAHR is approved to be reclaimed, the
cropland will be seeded to small grains typical for local farming operations and cropping
objectives.
Hayden Gulch Loadout • 37796 RCR #53
P.O.
