The Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety (Division) is in the process <br />of reviewing outstanding Notices of Intents (NOI) on file that remain open. As a part of this review, the <br />Division is updating the reclamation cost estimates associated with these NOIs per Rule 3.02.2(4). <br />Colowyo Coal Company has six of these NOIs, which are listed below. <br />X- 2006 - 109 -13 <br />X- 2005- 109 -12 <br />X- 2005- 109 -11 <br />X- 2004 - 109 -10 <br />X- 2003 - 109 -09 <br />X- 1995- 109 -05 <br />If Colowyo Coal Company requests the above mentioned NOIs to remain active, the Division will be <br />required to update the reclamation cost estimates associated with these NOIs and Colowyo Coal Company <br />may need to, if necessary, submit appropriate bond instruments to cover the new estimates. <br />If you have any questions, please contact me at (303) 866 -3567 ext. 8147 <br />Sincerely, <br />1 iott R.
