• Failure to place safety fencing of warning signs around active mining pits. <br />o "Hazardous sites or conditions resulting from operations shall be marked by signs, <br />fenced or otherwise identified to protect r e p 9 l isubpart iaccordance ordance with Federal and <br />State laws and regulations." 36 CFR part <br />must cease and desist with all mining operations until the following has occurred: <br />• Pay the current bond of $3,072.00 to the State of Colorado DRMS. <br />o Once the bond has been paid and I have been notified of payment, your Plan of <br />Operations may be authorized. <br />• Submit a modification to your Plan of Operations for the new disturbance. <br />o An additional bond will be calculated to account for the new disturbance. Only <br />once the bond has been paid may the modification be approved and mining <br />commence in that area. <br />• Place safety fencing and warning signs around active mining pits. <br />All items must be addressed within 30 days of receipt of this notice, or no later than March 11, <br />2013.
