Permit Revision No. 7 addresses changes to the prime <br />farmland determination and related soil redistribution and revegetation plans. Also <br />addressed is the replacement of the technical standard with a reference area for evaluating <br />revegetation success of Irrigated Cropland. <br />The New Horizon Mine is located at 27646 West 5TH Street, P.O. Box 628, Nucla, <br />Colorado. Telephone number (970) 864-2165 The revision pertains to portions of the <br />permit, of which the landowners are Frank & Mary Lou Morgan and Western Fuels - <br />Colorado. The legal description of the New Horizon Mine is portions of: <br />Mine 1: <br />SW 1/4, Section 25, T47N, R16W containing 98.62 acres MOL shown on the USGS 7.5 <br />minute Nucla Quadrangle map. <br />A map showing the permit area on the USGS Nuda Quadrangle (7.5 minute) map can <br />be seen below. <br />A copy of the complete permit revision application is available for public inspection at <br />the Montrose County Courthouse Annex, Nuda, Colorado. Written comments or <br />objections to the application may be submitted to the Division of Reclamation, Mining <br />and Safety, 1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Denver, Colorado 80203.
