6.0 Land Disturbance and Reclamation
6.1 Summary of 2012 Disturbance
NSI's disturbed acreage is based on the February 2009 and March 2010 bond calculations
from the DRMS and reflects the current bonded disturbance. Actual disturbance may be
less than what is bonded for. NSI extended the 10H/11 H pad to accommodate the 12H
well pair in 2012. Table 7 lists the bonded disturbed acreage as of December 2012.

6.2 Regulatory Compliance
6.2.1 Regulatory Activity
In 2012, all required reports were submitted in a timely manner. All required forms were
submitted to the appropriate agencies regarding 2012 plugging and abandonment
operations.
6.3.1 Regrading
Regrading activities did not occur in 2012. Plans for regrading in 2013 will involve the
2012 P &A well locations 4A-1V, 4A -5M, and the 94-1M.
6.3.2 Seeding & Weed Control
The 5H-1V pad was reseeded in January- February of 2012. Plans for reseeding in
2013 will include the 2012 P &A well locations for the 4A -1 V, 4A -5M, and the 94 -1 M.
Rio Blanco County Weed Control Supervisor in June 2012 identified several
occurrences of diffuse knapweed along CR31 on approach to the plant. NSI engaged
Noxious Weed Management of Meeker to investigate further. NWM identified several
