Pineda <br />Director <br />This letter is to inform you that the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety is proposing to <br />Approve a renewal application for a coal mining and reclamation permit. The application was submitted by <br />Snowcap Coal Company, Inc. on July 2, 2012, for the Roadside Portals. <br />Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by the proposed decision may request a formal <br />hearing before the Mined Land Reclamation Board within 30 days of the first publication of this notice by <br />the Division in the The Daily Sentinel. <br />The Underground mine is located approximately 5 miles North of Palisade, Colorado. The permit area is <br />further described as follows: <br />Portions of Sections 26, 27, 28, 34, and 35, T10S, R98W, 6th PM; Portions of Sections 1, 2, 11, 12, and 13, <br />TI IS, R98W, 6th PM; Portions of Section 7, TI IS, R97W, 6th PM; all in Mesa County. <br />Copies of the renewal application are available for public review in the Division offices at the above address <br />and at the Mesa County Clerk and Recorder.
