MINE ENGINEERING CIVIL ENGINEERING
MINE RECLAMATION CONST. MANAGEMENT
January 28, 2013
Jared Ebert
Division of Reclamation, Mining & Safety
1313 Sherman St., Room 215
Denver, CO 80203
Re: Honeywood Coal Company
Phase III Bond Release
Permit C -1991 -078
Dear Mr. Ebert:
The DRMS' letter dated January 22, 2013 listed issues that must be resolved prior to final bond
release. The letter asked for clarification for some information contained in my letter dated
December 3, 2012. I stated in the December 3rd letter that two wells were destroyed by high
run -off and two well permit applications had been submitted on behalf of Reams. Unfortunately
I made a mistake with the well numbers. Wells AW -4 and AW -6, located south of the highway,
were destroyed by high run -off from a significant storm event. Well permits for AW -5 and AW-
7 have been obtained on behalf of Reams.
Attached are documents that confirm the Andrews well permits have been issued. This should
finalize the bond release process.
Sincerely,
(/
J. E. Stover, P.E.
Consulting Engineer
J. E.
