1.6 Directions to Mitigation Site <br />The site is accessed by driving south from Denver, Colorado on either US Highway 85 or <br />Interstate 25 to US Highway 34. If traveling US Hwy. 85, proceed west on Hwy. 34 to 35 <br />Avenue; if traveling I -25 proceed east on Hwy. 34 to 35 Avenue. Proceed north on 35 <br />Avenue approximately 3.2 miles to F Street. Turn left/west onto F Street and proceed <br />approximately 1.3 miles to the site entrance. Turn right into the entrance gate to the site. <br />1.7 Dates of Compensatory Mitigation Commencement and /or Completion <br />Mitigation Area A and approximately 3.5 acres of the west end of mitigation Area B was <br />completed in 2002. Construction of approximately 2.4 acres of the wetland benches on the <br />east end of Area B was completed in 2004. Construction of Area C wetland benches <br />commenced in 2004, and as material stockpiles were depleted and miscellaneous equipment <br />was removed from this area, construction progressed to completion in 2007. In 2008, <br />additional backfilling and site grading was completed throughout the site.
