Box 773598 Steamboat Springs, CO 80477 Re: Yoast Mine (Permit No. C-1994-082) Technical Revision No. 52 (TR-52) TR-52 Requests land use change at Round-about area. Dear Ms. Weinland: The Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety hereby issues notice, in accordance with Title 34, Article 33, Section 116, Paragraph 4, of the Colorado Revised Statutes, that on January 23, 2013 an application to revise coal mining operations at the Yoast Mine was considered complete for the purposes of filing. The revision was submitted by Seneca Coal Company, LLC. All review and comment periods as provided in the Act and the Regulations initiate from this date of filing. TR52 requests to update the post mining land use for 6.25 acres of the permit area. The Surface coal mining operation is on land located approximately 7 miles Southwest of Hayden, Colorado. The permit area is further described as follows: T6N, R87W, Portions of Sections 28, 29 and 32 T5N, R87W, All of Section 17; Portions of Sections 5, 8, 16, 18, 19, 20, 29, 30 The above-mentioned tracts of land are shown on USGS 7.5 minute Quadrangle map of Mount Harris. The applicant is required to publish notice in a local newspaper that this application has been deemed complete. At the time of publication of this notice, the applicant is additionally required to place a copy of this application at the Hayden Public Library, 201 E. Jefferson Avenue, Hayden, CO 81639-1813, and at the Division office. In order for us to comply with regulatory time frames, we request that comments be submitted within fifteen (15) days of this letter.
