WFC states that Mr. Morgan did not have crop records, personal communication. All
lies and we have sent you numerous times SCS records from back in 1960. Mr.
Morgan has historically irrigated and cropped this place for over 50 years not 20 like
the incompetent person that wrote this ridiculous conglomeration of lies and unture
statements in Pr -07... Believe it or not, a harrow doesn't level nor is it a piece of
equipment that we use We are the Fanners on the Morgan property and we'll use what
we have which is much better. This is just another place, another time and we are back
with another idiot starting over after 5 years of progress. I did not know that God made
so many idiots in one place. These people know nothing about farming. Even in gated
pipe, water will not irrigate uphill as Pr -07 states. AND YOU ARE NOT GOING TO
GIVE US BACK A LABOR INTENSIVE RANCH THAT REQUIRES HUNDREDS OF
HOURS OF SHOVELING WHEN WE HAD A VERY WELL DESIGNED IIRGATED
PLACE PRIOR TO MIN1NG1rtiunnIIInnIUninlI1IIIII 111IftiIi We offered to even put in a
pivot and WFC has refused. It amazes me that the STATE does not have a farmer
amist them that could read how ridiculous this proposal is.
OSM had better put a stop to all of this or the State. It's pretty obvious that the Stae
doesn't have any intentions of doing their jobs or they would have not allowed such a
ridiculous revision that sent all the progress right straight back to 5 years ago. Mr. Berry
ordered these things to be worked out and most things had already been done until this
revision that degressed to that things that we are now involved in with Mr. Dejoia and
Mr. Lewicki. These so- called experts need to get their facts straight and forget all this
crap you produce because you have a fight now, a real fight. We seen some progress
over the past 5 years and finally got some of your lies and facts put to real use, but
now, you have shown us that you have NO, NO intentions of fixing this place and this
isn't going to happen and if the State won't do something to put a stop this, then we will.
We want an informal hearing here, taped. We do not want a transcript, we want a copy
of the tape. We will try and get channel 7 news which I have contacted and KJCT news
to acquire some help as well as the news media. Letters will go out tomorrow. And to
the Tri -State Board because they need to know the real truths. We will try to get in
touch with Sheep Mountain Alliance and see if they can't give some help. I have
already contacted the Governor and Senators. This all needs to stop and we need to
go on with our farming and our lives. We need to be able to go back to farming and
enjoy some of the life we have left. Mr. Morgan is 86 and Mrs. Morgan way up there
and we need to be less than 80 when we get to farm. And if WFC won't fulfill their
obligations under the ACT, then we will seek other help. l will see if the County
Commissioners can attend this informal hearing. I think this would interest them and
our congressman We had a beautiful, efficient working ranch here prior to WFC and
NO WFC, State, or government agency is going to take that away from us. WFC has
documented they have spent millions and for what they have paid their attorneys and
their hired guns, they could have fixed our entire place, but refused to, unwarranted
failure to comply. We have a Board Order which the proper procedure that we had to
follow was to appeal that decision if we had any objections and believed that that
decision would adversely affect us and to bring that Order to compliance, we appealed
because if even ONE rule is broken, it's not in full compliance, which it was not. I will try
and contact the Board members directly and let them each know what is happening.
here. We should not have to keep Lighting for what is right here, the lease was signed
45 1 Page
JoEllen Turner
970 - 864 -7682 p.2
