The person who conduced the mining
must notify any person whose health and safety in in imminent danger as a result of exceeding the standards
and additional hydrological tests including drilling, infiltration and aquifer isolating the aquifer of interest and
accuracy of monitoring data collected.
The Newlin Creek development has a new well and it needs to be determined if that aquifer has been
contaminated as well.
What is the status of the Divisions research into this matter since July 29th and when can we expect a reply
regarding remediation of the contamination.
The Department of Natural resources is lobbying legislators for additional legislation to protect ground water. We
would like the regulations that exist for mining to be followed so the aquifers are protected now.
https: / /mail.g oog le.conVmai I /u /0 / ?ui =2 &i Ire29129fcb5 &iev-- pt &search =i nboy&th= 13c635805836d2Df 1/2
