It was not apparent whether any
were being discharged.
GENERAL MINE PLAN COMPLANCE:
It appeared that the operator has implemented the disturbance proposed with Technical Revision No. 76
prior to approval by the Division. Earthmoving activities were observed between Gob Pile 42 and Gob Pile 44, in
an area not currently approved for disturbance. The Division will, as required by Rule 5.02.2(3)(b),investigate
this matter on-site.
PROCESSING WASTE/COAL MINE WASTE PILES —Rule 4.10 and 4.11❑ Drainage Control; Surface
Stabilization; Placement:
Gob was being placed on Gob Pile #2,on the west end of the third bench(between ditches F2 and F12)
and at the northern tip/upper bench. It appeared that water was impounded on the third bench, below recently
placed gob. Care must be taken in placing gob to ensure that drainage off of the pile is maintained.
The diversion ditch configuration approved under Minor Revision No. 132 had been implemented.
