Please be advised that on October 7, 1997, Climax Molybdenum Company,whose address and telephone
number are P O Box 68, Empire, CO 80438; [phone],filed a Technical Revision(TR-10)for the
Climax Mine Permit No. M-77-493.The revision to Permit No. M-77-493 is for an affected land exchange
in the Searle Gulch area, for land situated above the Mayflower Tailing Pond, to facilitate installation of
a surge line for the extension of the 5-Dam pumpback line. The Climax Mine, is located at or near
Section 25, Township 7S, Range 79W, 6th Prime Meridian, in Summit County,and the location of the area
for the land exchange is also in Summit County. The Technical Revision decision date is scheduled for
January 5, 1998.
A copy of the application is available for review at the Summit County Clerk&Recorder's office and at the
office of the Division of Minerals and Geology,Room 215, 1313 Sherman Street, Denver,Colorado 80203.
All written comments or objections must be submitted within twenty(20)days of the date of the newspaper
public notice to be considered in the application review process by the Division. You should contact the
