5 -Shaft Seep Monitoring Report
The attached two reports are specific to seep monitoring requirements of the Climax Reclamation
Permit following inundation of the underground 600 level on December 14, 1994. A map derived
from aerial photos was submitted on March 4, 1995 with the 1994 Annual Reclamation Report.
The attached reports are pre- and post initiation of pumping at the 5 -Shaft Pumping Station. Note
that "seep" 1 (A and B), the French Drain, is a constructed drainage form the Stroke Crusher.
Seep 2 refers to piped conveyance draining the debris disposal area hooked into the plumbing
from the now demolished Storke Office and Dry Building.
There were no new seeps identified following initiation of pumping at the 5 -Shaft Pumping Station
on July 13, 1995.
