The attached worksheet and reference material <br /> summarizes the reclamation activity and monitoring summaries at the Climax Mine in 1996. <br /> Reclamation at Climax centered on additional building demolition and revegetation work in the <br /> Storke Underground Facilities Complex and revegetation at Eagle Park Reservoir. Topsoil <br /> stockpiling and spreading occurred along Highway 91 and at the crest of 1-Dam. A primary focus <br /> of 1996 activities was the completion of tailing removal from the former oxide pond. <br /> The financial warrantee for the Climax Mine has not been adjusted this year. An Amendment <br /> application has been filed for 1997 that will result in a recalculation of the financial warrantee for <br /> the Climax Mine.
