In addition, three maps detailing work performed during 1991 are attached. The Climax Mine exhausted the ore reserves of the Storke Level in 1991 , and production ceased in May. The underground facilities are being retained for future development of the lower levels, and the underground mine water pump and ventilation systems are still in use, and are being maintained. Near term production is scheduled from the open-pit mine, however, the Climax Mine has had no production since May of 1991 . It is currently estimated that production should resume during the last quarter of 1992. During the shutdown phase, the milling circuit was upgraded, and a 90 day limited production performance evaluation of the milling circuit will commence on April 1 . Reclamation efforts during 1991 were again concentrated on recontouring and rock facing of the No.1 Tailing Dam. This work was observed and inspected by the Colorado MLRD specialists on two separate occasions. Because of the recent downsizing of the Climax Mine facilities, several structures not necessasry for future production were demolished, and site restoration will continue during 1992. The spreadsheet which was the basis for the 1989 permit amendment has also been updated to reflect status changes of several areas. The Grading/Site Preparation and Revegetation Information has not changed from the original 1989 spreadsheet, and was not included in the revision.
