A) Geomembrane Installation
No work performed during the week.
B) Geomembrane Exposure
Existing Phase 5 geomembrane was exposed using a CAT 312 excavator, a John Deere 35D
excavator, and laborers, preparing for berm raise construction and berm raise geomembrane tie -
in. An AMEC field representative observed geomembrane exposure.
C) Anchor Trench
No work performed during the week.
D) Geomembrane Acceptance
No work performed during the week.
CQA ACTIVITIES:
SUMMARY:
The CQA activities performed consisted of observing, documenting and recording the construction
activities of the contractor.
AMEC observed subgrade preparation for the Phase 5 Berm Raise project.
AMEC observed site grading for the Phase 5 Berm Raise project.
AMEC observed exposure of existing geomembrane for the Phase 5 Berm Raise project
Testing Summary
Laboratory testing continued (Particle Size Distribution, Atterberg Limits, Moisture - Density Relations,
Specific Gravity, Permeability, and Point Load testing) for sampled materials.
