Additional Pages
2012 Annual Report
Fountain Pit
M -1982 -155
Schmidt Construction Company
Anniversary Date: December 31
Expected Activity (2013): Mining activity in 2013 may be considerably greater than has been seen in many
years. A large project will require a great deal of material. Thus the zone on the map showing the future mining
is nearly 40 acres. It is not known if that is what will be affected, but it is possible. It is also possible that the
approximately 8.1 acres between the pit and the powerlines will also be mined However, that is dependent
upon obtaining permission from the owner of the powerlines to mine land closer than the 200 foot limitation
currently imposed by the permit. Elsewhere on an adjacent mining operation (not Schmidt's) mining has
occurred to within 50 feet of the powerlines. If that permission is obtained, a change will in the permit will be
sought to incorporate that into the permit. It is known that good material is available in that area.
Schmidt Construction Company
2012 Annual Report M- 1982 -155 Fountain Pit Page 1 of 1
