<br />Notice Representative of theSteamboat Pilot & Today,
<br />that the same is a daily newspaper printed, in whole
<br />or in part, and published in the County of Routt,
<br />State of Colorado, and has a general circulation
<br />therein; that said newspaper has been published
<br />continuously and uninterruptedly in said County of
<br />Routt for a period of more than fifty -two weeks prior
<br />to the first publication of the annexed legal notice or
<br />advertisement; that said newspaper has been admitted

<br />Road 27, Oak Creek, Colorado 80467, has submitted
<br />an application for renewal of the existing active Min-
<br />ing and Reclamation Permit (Permit Number
<br />C -82 -058) for the Foidel Creek M ins.
<br />The mire permit area encompasses approximately
<br />22,450 acres, located approximately 23 miles south-
<br />west of Steamboat Springs on County Road 33, and
<br />approximately 7.3 miles northwest of Oak Crank on
<br />Routt County Road 27. Mine offices and major sur-
<br />face facilities are located adjacent to Fohdel Creek,
<br />roar the intersection of these two roads. The Mine
<br />Permit Area includes portions of Roult County Roads
<br />27, 33, and 37, and mining and related activities may
<br />occur under or within 100 feet of the portions of
<br />these roads within the Permit Area; RCR27 - from
<br />approximately 1 -mile south ofthe entrance to Grassy
<br />Creek Ranch to approximately 1 -mile south of the In-
<br />tersection of RCR27 and RCR33; RCR33 from the in-
<br />tersection of RCR33 and RiCR179 to the intersection
<br />of RCR33 and RCR27, and RCR37 from the intersec-
<br />tion of RCR37 and RCR27 to a point approximately
<br />1.5 -mites southwest where RCR37 enters the canyon
<br />of upper Fish Creek
<br />The mire permit area is covered by the Cow Greek,
<br />DuMdey, Milner, Mount Harris, Oak Creak, and Rat -
<br />tlesnake Butte USGS 7.5 minute quadrangle maps,
<br />and includes all or portions of Sections 7 through 9,
<br />T4N, R86W; T5N, R86W, except Sections 34 through
<br />38; and Sections 13, 22 through 24, 25 through 27,
<br />and 34 through38, TSN, R B7W. The ownership, pre-
<br />cise location, and boundaries of lands within the Per-
<br />mit are identified on pages 203 -13 through 2.08.18
<br />and 2.03 -22 and 2.03 -23.1, and Map 1, of the Mine
<br />Permit Application Package (PAP), and are included
<br />in this public notice by reference.
<br />Copies of the PAP {less confidential materials) are
<br />available for inspection at the mine office and the of-
<br />fice of the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Minting,
<br />and Safety. A copy of the Techrnical Revision appli-
<br />cation is also available for public inspection at the:

<br />Written comments or objections to the Permit re-
<br />newal application; a request for informal conference
<br />summarizing the requestor's issue(s) and indicating
<br />whether or not the requestor desires the conference
<br />to be held in the mine locale; or a request for a public
<br />hearing (held in the mine locale) to determine
<br />whether the interests of the public and affected land-
<br />owners will be protected (re: proximity of mining op-
<br />erations to public roads) should be submitted to the
<br />State of Colorado, Division of Reclamation, Mining,
<br />and Safety, 1313 Sherman Street, Room 215, Den-
<br />ver, Colorado 80 203 -2 27 3 within thirty days of the
<br />last date of publication of this notice.
