The technical revision addresses,
the installation of a pump station to draw down the water table on the adjacent land. The Division sent an adequacy
letter to the revision on October 10, 2012. Because the operator is in negations to purchase the property as verified
by Mr. Steve O'Brian, the land wonder's consultant, the Division will extend the decision date to December 30, 2012.
However, it is very important for Aggregate industries to expedite the process of purchasing the property and
withdraw the technical revision or install the pump after addressing the adequacy issues.
If you have questions, please contact me at (303) 866 -3567 ext 8129
Sinc
Berhan Keffelew
Environmental Protection Specialist
CC: Tony Waldron
Tom Kaldenbach
Office of
Mined Land Reclamation
Denver • Grand Junction • Durango
STATE OF COLORADO
COLORADO
D I V I S I O N O F
RECLAMATION
MINING
— &—
SAFETY
John W.
