This site is located south of <br /> Hayden, Colorado in Routt County. I,Jared Ebert with the Colorado Division of Reclamation,Mining and Safety <br /> conducted the inspection. Mr. Roy Karo with the operation was aware of the inspection but did not accompany <br /> me. The weather was partly cloudy and windy during the inspection. Due to a recent snow storm a large part of <br /> the mine area was inaccessible. <br /> HYDROLOGIC BALANCE -Rule 4.05; Drainage Control 4.05.1,4.05.2,4.05.3; Siltation Structures 4.05.5, <br /> 4.05.6; Discharge Structures 4.05.7,4.05.10; Diversions 4.05.4; Effluent Limits 4.05.2; Ground Water <br /> Monitoring 4.05.13; Surface Water Monitoring 4.05.13; Drainage —Acid and Toxic Materials 4.05.8; <br /> Impoundments 4.05.6,4.05.9; Stream Buffer Zones 4.05.18: <br /> Pond 012 was holding water and discharging. The pond was covered with snow and ice. The primary and <br /> emergency spillway was clear of debris and functional. Wire gabions were staged on top of the pond <br /> embankment. The embankment was stable. <br /> Pond 012A was holding water but was not discharging. The primary spillway was clear of debris and functional. <br /> The embankment was snow covered and stable. Wire gabions were stationed along YPM-6-2 and YPM-6-3 <br /> drainages. <br /> Pond 014 was holding water but was not discharging. The area was covered with snow and stable. The flume was <br /> in place and appeared functional. The embankment was stable. <br /> Pond 013 was holding water but was not discharging.
