The current liability of the above NOI is $12,803.00. This liability, which was
transferred to Moffat County Mining, LLC, covers the reclamation cost for eight monitoring wells
permitted under this NOI. Four of the wells are a part of the Williams Fork Mine's Monitoring Plan and
are bonded under mining permit 4C- 1981 -044. Therefore, the reclamation required for these four wells is
adequately covered under the mining bond, thus the exploration bond is no longer necessary for these four
wells. The Division proposes to release a liability of $2,077.26 and leave $10,725.74 in place to cover the
reclamation of the remaining four wells not bonded under mining permit 4C- 1981 -044.
The legal description for the project is as follows: Sectionl8, Township 6 North, Range 91 West and
Sections 12, 13, 14, 24, Township 6 North, Range 92 West of the Sixth Principle Meridian in Moffat
County.
Any person with an interest which may be adversely affected by this proposed decision may submit
written comments to the Division at the address above within 30 days of publication of this proposed
decision in the Craig Daily Press.
If you have any questions, please contact me at (303)866 -3567 ext. 8147.
Sincerely,
Elliott Russell
Environmental Protection Specialist
Certified Card No.: 7009 2820 0003 5700 6731
Return Receipt Requested
Office of Page 1 of 1 Office of
Mined Land Reclamation Denver • Grand Junction • Durango Active and Inactive Mines
