2. The disturbed and affected area listed on page 3 of your RN -06 application
is 4,800.6 acres, but it should be less to reflect the reduction in acreage
from SL -05. The amount of area released with SL -05 was 979.5 acres. The
result of 4,800.6 less 979.5 is 3,821.1 acres. However, the number in our
Permit System is 3,786 acres. (I do realize that the RN -06 application was
submitted before SL -05 was approved, however I think it makes sense to
address this now, especially given the discrepancy between 3,821 acres and
3,786 acres.)
Response: Colowyo removed the SL -05 released acres (979.5) from the
disturbed and affected acres as requested. Per a phone conversation on
November 30, 2012 between Mr. Rob Zuber and Mr. Tony Tennyson, the
total acres disturbed were discussed. Mr. Tennyson stated that after
revisiting the disturbed acres, that Colowyo believes the number in the
Division permit system is correct. Therefore, Colowyo is updating page 3
of the renewal and re- submitting it under this cover.
3. The bond release areas on page 3 of the RN -06 application (approximately
1,415 ac for 60% and approximately 1,341 ac for 85 %) are approximately
18 acres less than what we have in our Permit System. Our Permit System
numbers are consistent with the sum of Phase I and Phase II released areas
from SL1 - SL4 (as listed in the DRMS findings, see table below).
