Box 316 <br /> j Pueblo, Colorado 81002 <br /> RE: IAD 197-E364-032-08 <br /> Release No. R-26667 AN 6 1980 <br /> Purchase Order No. M26144 <br /> ANALYTICAL REPORT MINING DEPARTMENT <br /> Eight water samples were received for analyses on April 24, 1980. <br /> The samples were given our identification IAD n97-E364-032-08. <br /> The samples were analyzed for calcium, iron, magnesium, manganese, <br /> and zinc by flame atomic absorption, for sodium and potassium by <br /> 1 flame emission, and for selenium by hydride generation atomic <br /> 1 absorption. <br /> Boron was determined colorimetrically. Alkalinity, chloride, <br /> fluoride, hardness, pH, sulfate, specific conductance, suspended <br /> solids, oil & grease, and dissolved solids were determined by the <br /> �• procedures of Standard Methods, 14th edition. Ion balance and <br /> sodium absorption ratio were calculated. <br /> The results of these analyses are presented in the following tables <br /> and are reported in mg/l unless otherwise noted. <br /> The Allen Mine 4/22/80, 11:50 sample has an ion balance problem <br /> due to a lack of anions. Further work may be needed to make the <br /> ions balance. <br /> ,,o <br />
