<br />Snowcap Coal Company, P.O. Box
<br />1430, Palisade, CO, 81526, has sub•
<br />milted a complete application for a
<br />technical revision to the Division of
<br />Reclamation, Mining and Safety for its
<br />Roadside North and South Portals,
<br />mining permit No. C- 1981 -041. The
<br />proposed revision will Incorporate into
<br />the permit a discussion of the flow
<br />variations In the french drain system
<br />at the portal. The proposed revision
<br />also provides a new design for the
<br />drainage ditch that crosses re
<br />claimed sediment pond 9.
<br />The Roadside mines are located ap
<br />proximately three miles northeast of
<br />Palisade, CO at the Interstate 70,
<br />Cameo Exit No.46. The permit area Is
<br />split east and west by the Colorado
<br />River and t -70, and is encompassed
<br />within the following lands:
<br />T10S, R98W., 6th P.M.:Sections 26,
<br />27, 28, 34, 35
<br />T11S, R98W., 6th P.M.:S_ections 1, 2,
<br />11,12,13
<br />T11S, R97W., 6th P.M.:Section 7
<br />The location of these sections is con
<br />tained within the U.S. Geological Sur
<br />vey 7.5 minute Cameo and Palisade
<br />Quadrangle maps.
<br />A copy of the technical revision appli
<br />cation Is available for public inspec
<br />tion at the Mesa County Clerk and
<br />Recorder's office, 200 S. Spruce,
<br />Grand Junction, CO. A copy of the
<br />approved permit application docu•
<br />ment, as well as the technical reef
<br />sion application, are available at the
<br />Denver and Grand Junction offices of
<br />the Division of Reclamation, Mining

<br />tion, Mining and Safety within 10 days
<br />after the date of this publication in
<br />order to be considered.
