Water shall contain no more than 2,000 <br /> ppm suspended solids. <br /> 4.3 CONCRETE AGGREGATES <br /> Concrete aggregates shall conform to ASTM C 33 or other appropriate <br /> standard listed in this specification. <br /> 4.3.1 FINE AGGREGATE <br /> Fine aggregate for standard structural concrete shall consist of <br /> clean, hard, durable, uncoated grains of natural sand and shall be <br /> free from excessive quantities of deleterious substances, lumps, <br /> organic matter and alkali as specified in ASTM C 33.
