SPECIFICATION B <br /> CONCRETE <br /> 1 SCOPE <br /> The work covered by this specification consists of furnishing all materials and <br /> performing all operations required for the mixing and placing of concrete including <br /> cement, aggregate admixtures, reinforcement and embedded materials, as shown <br /> on the Drawings. <br /> 2 GENERAL <br /> 2.1 PRE-CONCRETING APPROVALS <br /> Before any concrete is placed, the design mix shall be submitted for review <br /> by the Engineer, all form work and embedded items shall have been <br /> observed by the Engineer and tests of all materials and concrete-placing <br /> procedures shall have been completed and reviewed by the Engineer. <br /> 2.2 Re-bars in general shall be cut and bent to shape in the shop. The <br /> Contractor may field cut or bend bars as required to fit. <br /> 3 APPLICABLE STANDARDS <br /> The following publications of the latest issue are a part of this specification.
