When relating calculated discharge to the inflow results, correlation of inflow to
discharge is relatively close. An inflow of 26.4 gpm relates to 38,016 gpd. Calculated
discharge over the year is 109,200 gpd. The difference in the calculated discharge and the
estimated inflow may relate to inefficiencies of pumping, unmeasurable ground water
seepage into the sump, or new seepage encountered since the mine has been reactiviated.
